We just got the same letter. The IRS never received confirmation from the DoD for DH's deployment in 2009/2010. Is this a big DoD screw up or just a Ft Hood thing?

We get them every year or so. We fill out the details, mail it back, and we haven't had an issue yet. Fingers crossed. I truly hate the IRS.

My husband got one of those 6 months or so ago from a deployment in 2009....so it must be an all over military thing.
