I am NOT ashamed to say that before the twilight books I HATED TO READ but after I finished the series I am in love with reading. I love all the Nickolas Sparks novels and the fifty shades of grey series, But now I am stuck I do not know what to read next, I heard Daring greatly is good has anyone read it?

I think you just have to take it with a grain of salt and accept the difference for what they are

I find books to be way better than movies...  I tend to prefer my interpretation of the book rather than someone in Hollywood...

I read the Hunger Games trilogy over and over again- love those books! I also like the Diana Gabaldon outlander books, and any classic British literature...I named my kid after a Jane Austen character...

I prefer to read the book before the movie which is usually a let down and yet, I keep doing it...

I love Confessions of an Ugly Stepsister! I have a lot of Gregory Maguire's books.

I don't think many books I read will be in your preferred genre. But here some of my favorites...

O, Jerusalem
The Summer of Ordinary Ways
Mirror, Mirror
Confessions of an Ugly Stepsister
'Til We Have Faces
Bourne series (The books the movies were based on)
Lots more, but I can't think of them.

I started Wicked and truly did not care for it, but the rest I like very much. Confessions helps me deal with some self-esteem issues I had, believe it or not. Beauty is its own curse, really. I learned that when the Master put Girl with Tulips in his misfit gallery.
