Dh is 2 days away from graduating AIT. The only problem is that no one has gotten their orders. Reason being, one of the Sargents shredded them on accident. So now if they don't get them my tomorrow no one gets to go home. This isn't fair. Can they really do this? Make them suffer for the Sargent's mistake?

Sure can. My husband didn't get orders until 2 hours after his MOS school graduation and that's just because his CoC was full of pricks.

Yes, they can be held. It's just how it is, and is something to get use to.

yup, agree first of many "hubby getting punished for others stupidity" :D

as for orders.. we had hard copy orders this last time and they changed 10 days before he got to his new duty station.. after we were already in transit... talk about stress.. the military is fun and adventurous like that:D

Yep, they can and they will. We didn't find out my dh first duty station until a day or two before AIT graduation.

It happens, but it makes the NCO look like a total shitbag. There should be someone in that office printing out orders until whatever time it takes to get those students squared away.

Yup. They can. My hubby almost didn't get to come home after graduation because a sgt didn't return his weapon to the right cage.
