Breed Restrictions for housing??

Hello, my husband and our family will be stationed at San Diego here soon and we are looking at our options for housing. I see it is Lincoln military housing for on base. When I looked them up it said that there is a breed restriction for housing. I can't seem to get a hold of anyone or find out where to find out the breed list. Does anyone know what breeds are restricted or where I can find out? We have a German Shepherd so I want to make sure she can move on base with us?

Breed restrictions should be listed on his orders.

I found this in the san diego "lease" for LMH

 

Resident may not keep or permit the following dog breeds in or on the Premises:
Chows, Doberman Pinschers, Presa Canarios, Pit Bulls (American Pit Bull Terrier,
American Staffordshire Terrier, Staffordshire Bull Terrier), Rottweilers, any Wolf
Hybrid, or any mix of the aforementioned breeds (each, a “Prohibited Dog”) in or on
the Premises. However, current Residents possessing properly registered
Prohibited Dogs as of October 1, 2011 will be permitted to keep their dog(s) in the
Premises previously leased to Resident

It's usually the standard breed restrictions. Have you called the housing office?

Thank you all for your replies. The housing office called me back and said German Shepherds are allowed. We are happy to hear this:)

I think a German Sheperd is fine (I mean PMO uses them, so...)

The restricted breeds here are Pitbulls and Dobermans.

I think breed restrictions and BSL are bullshit, but I don't make the rules.

at our last base, we heard that you could take your banned breeds to the housing office and if they proved to be gentle or whatever, the housing could make an acception for you...BUT if they get out of line in the future....well ya know...

 the housing dept should have a list posted online.
