Bedrooms on post

We have one child full time and one part time. Will we qualify for 3 or 4 bedrooms on post? My husband will be OCS rank the whole first year we are there, if that matters. (Fort Stewart)

Does Stewart even have 2 BR homes? Our installation doesn't! 3-5 BR here.

I think if you have him half of the time, he will qualify for a room.

The way qualifications have worked at every post I've been to, it would be a 2 or a 3. The only way it would be a 2, is if for some crazy reason they didn't see the need for him to have a room and/or he isn't on your DEERS. He has to be a dependant on your DEERS papers for you to qualify for a bedroom for him. If he is on your DEERS papers, it will be a 3. I would look up the number for housing there and call them, they'll be able to tell you more.

They do but I think you are right they would most likely get a three bedroom but I wouldn't put out much hope for four.

They are both on DEERS.

As long as both children are on DEERS, then I think you qualify for a 3 bedroom home.

You will get a 3 bc your oldest is 10. . Regardless of sex. . I have 3 soon to be 4 kids and at Lewis I only qualify for a 3 bedroom. . My kids are 4, 3 and 1. . . . Every base does it differently. . At Bragg we got a 4 bedroom one for each kid. .
