Have any of you military wife's ever moved with ur SO even though u was not on his order.. We are doing the command sponsership, but our screenings may not be cleared before his report date to Alaska and we are still thinking of just going so I don't have to travel with our kids alone..

if you go before your allowed to go, you will not be reimbursed. and your DH will not get BAH with dependants, will not get COLA with dep, you cannot be seen on base for medical cannot live in base housing.
AK should only take 10 days, and if they have had it 5 days or so you can call them ( AK) on monday to check the status) and explain the situation to them.
if you have not set up your move I would suggest doing that ASAP if you can, it is alot easier to change a date than it is to get a last minute move set up
