Nope...we had a wifes and family group in Va beach. His group in very tight and close knit. I have met some but never volunteer.

Nope. Never did, he had his unit I have mine. We don't share work anything :P

I used to but then the commander changed and family was put beyond last. Literally, I had to postpone a surgery because they wouldn't let my DH have time off. When the commander changed again I assumed things would get better, we knew this woman, but it got worse. They are insane! I can't talk with the other spouses for fear of outting one of their spouses lies or cheating. It's really sad. So I refuse to do anything with the unit.

nope! I dont have time between work and kids. Also hubby was in AF for a year and I never heard from any one in his unit the whole time..and no one from his unit sent him care packages either.... screw his unit.

I have made stuff and hosted a couple of things but that's it. I get tired pretty easily so I prefer to just put the work/effort into stuff for my family. I wouldn't mind volunteering here and there once the little one is in school.
