Its been hard meeting women around the area, i just feel so out of place to be honest. I have lived here for about a year and still finding it hard making friends lol. Which usually im a social butterfly... but its been hard here.

Hi everyone! I am Jessica. I have been a Navy wife for 9 years now. I have three amazing children (well, one is  teenager now lol). I have a daughter who is 14, two sons 11 and 7 and I stay pretty busy as I am a writer of science fiction/fantasy and have a full time business as a glamour and fashion photographer so I don't get out much lol. When I do get out I like going to the movies during the school ours with friends to get away or have a nice cup of coffee. We are stationed here in Virginia and my husband and I bought a house in Newport News. I am from the area but we are set to transfer next year

Hi Cait! Welcome to the group.

I love San Antonio. Some of my best friends are stationed at Ft. Sam, so I visit often.

Hello! My name is Layla and me and my husband have a 13 months old daughter. Although I am not technically a military mom yet, my husband is going to enlist soon. Still thinking about Army, Air Force, or Navy. And I joined to try and get idea of what life is like raising a family in the military.
