Hi! My name is Delilah & we are stationed at MC Base Quantico. It'll be two years in Dec we've been here. I joined to meet other moms, but also looking to work from home. If anyone has any information on that, let me know! Look forward to hearing from anyone! Thanks!

Hi!! While we aren't stationed there Dh and I go to Quantico every few weeks or so. It is the nearest base to us. Dh is prior Marine and just serving as a reservist now. We were actually just at Quantico yesterday.

Hello!! My name is Ashleigh. My husband and I just got stationed here in December. This is our first duty station. I am also a first time mom, just had my baby girl on July 29th. I pretty much stay at home all the time because I don't know anyone or know of anything to do around here. :(

Hi, congrats on your new baby! I have a lil girl but she's 19 months. They grow up very fast!! I also have 2 other kids so believe me, they grow quick. Cherish every moment.
I actually just left Quantico in July. I'm in Ca, where's there's really nothing here!
Quantico is nice bc it's pretty & ur close to many things. The only bad thing is the traffic on 95. I suggest not going out into Staffird or Dumfries around 4-6pm. Basically north or south. We've been in traffic just to go to dinner. So we stayed home a lot.

Washing DC is nice, not far way & you can look online for special events/activities. The Washington zoo is amazing & free!!!! You pay $22 for parking. But that's not bad. (Bring snacks & water in your baby's diaper bag !) it's very nice & worth a day trip.

The Potomic Mills Mall is nice too. ( if your a shopper) the theater up there is nice too. They give military discount. Most places do if you ask!!

Onbase the little theater is nice & cheap. The WIC center is located in the building too. ( I suggest that too bc it def helps w a new baby!!) they are open Mon & Wed only. So call & leave a msg for an app. Ladies are super nice.

Get signed up w housing ( your email) so you can be notified of base events. Trick or treating stuff like that.

I'm sure you'll meet people with your husbands work & people in your neighborhood ( live onbase?) friends will come & go, just enjoy them for the time they are in your life. There's a lot of kids & mommy's onbase so I'm sure you'll meet people soon! Good luck!!
