As I've posted before, DH has been trying to reenlist. He's trying to get Ft. Knox as that's where he's from. His retention NCO got a call from someone there asking for a soldier of DH's rank and MOS, which is perfect! So the retention guy calls DH to come down to the office and get the reenlistment paperwork started. When they try to do that, there's some error due to my son's EFMP status. There shouldn't be, because he's gotten an all-clear from the other post's EFMP office during this process. Yet due to the time difference, and the fact that the retention guy is rarely in his office, I have no idea when this will be cleared up.

I just want to KNOW WHAT'S GOING ON! Annnnd, I don't, and won't, and I'm so freaking impatient.

I should be used to this by now ;-)

We all SHOULD be used to it...but I think we can all relate to impatience when waiting for the military, LOL.

I'm just sick of this back and forth nonsense. I understand that this man is very busy, and he takes care of tons of soldiers and others currently have priority to him, but THIS soldier is my priority, I have no others to think about. And the way this goes has a huge impact on my family. So patience doesn't come easy to me. I'm not as annoyed as yesterday though. :)

So how did it work out?

My son's EFMP stuff is wrong and has specialists listed there we don't see. They were put on when we were still waiting on consults and test results, so once I get that updated we're good to go.

Still haven't gotten in touch with the retention guy, I called the other EFMP office myself and they were able to tell me what's going on.

Now, just trying to get it updated, which is another process that takes forever lol. So I'm hoping it can get done before this whole thing disappears. Our ped is great though and is doing what he can to help :)
