Who I would need to talk to at a VA hospital aboutsending in cards for our veterens?

My girl scout troop will be making cards to send for Veterens day and I don't want them to get returned to us or thrown away like I've heard some people say they do :/

Yeah the ones sent to Walter Reed apparently get thrown away if they are adresses to "a recovering soldier" . :/

do you have any local military non profits?  The VFW here runs " a rose for soldiers" and they send care packages out.  That's who my DD's girl scout troop makes stuff for.  Such a nice sentiment, though!

NP :-)  a good place to start searching would be your local American Legion or VFW post.

The USO might be able to help as well. Or maybe contacting WWP or the DAV
