Though some genealogy research our family learned that we have had a service member in every American war/conflict. Some who met a very tragic end like Churchwell Patrick he died at Camp Douglas in Chicago IL, 3 months before the civil war ended. COL Isaac Perkins was instrumental in the Revolutionary war win here in Maryland. Consequently the brewery that he started is still in operation today. Perkins Pride is still a number one brew tha they sell, his original recipe.
