How often do you attend?

I have been reading all the ball/benefit posts the last few days and I wonder how many of you attend these types of functions and how often?

We attend a lot of benefits and other functions now but when we were active we used to rarely attend the balls.

Sadly I have never been to one :(

I have been very close to going a few times but something always comes up to where we can't go.

Nope never. Hubs been in 16 years and we've been married for 6, never been.

I have been to one ball, 5 christmas parties, 3 formal ceremonies in 12 years.

I prefer not to go to them.

2 balls in 23 years.  And only the last one because it would be the "last one"...

Add to that about 15 Christmas parties and a billion squadron...things...

Never. They weren't our thing. We went to the boat Christmas party but that would be it.

I've been to a handfull. I would say 3-4 balls, a couple of other functions here and there. I don't go to everything. If I'm free and we have a sitter, then sure we might go. Otherwise, no biggie :)
