1% is better than nothing. I don't care where he signed it as long as it was signed.

how many civilians do you know that have gotten a raise in the last year?????

Every civilian I know for a raise and A CHRISTMAS BONUS...
My mom is in construction, and my cousin and friends are nurses or receptionists, and one friend works at a furniture store.. .

All Civillians I know got a raise. That was a weird way to put it. I work for a work at home company, every 6 months we get raises.

2011, 2012 & 2013 were the lowest raises, then this one is the lowest yet.

Of course something is better than nothing, it is just sad how things are going.

I don't depend on a raise as a civilian, so this is no different. We never expect it, but it is nice if we get it. I'm grateful for anything.

My parents would have been ecstatic to get a raise, but instead they got laid off their jobs they have had for over a decade. No, our economy isn't great, and yes I am grateful my husband and I are employed at all.

It would have been nice if it was more, but it is better than nothing.  Plus, he still has a job and is getting a paycheck.

Just wondering, how sure are we that tricare won't be absolved during Obama's reign?

I highly doubt it will absolved ever....not completely.  That's just my opinion though.  Others may feel differently.
