Hello everyone! I'm Taylor and my husband just joined. I'm really scared because being 18 sucks. I feel like there will be no one my age or anyone who is older that is willing to talk to me. I have a lot of friends (21+) but I feel like it will be different. Advice ? :)

From my own experience, I don't think age will be an issue. Granted, I was on the other end of the spectrum LOL, but most of my military friends are quite a bit younger. I think people realize that we're all in the same boat, so we connect due to more meaningful factors .. age isn't a big deal.

... or maybe I'm just so awesome that no one cares that I'm ancient. LOL ;-)

Age isn't an issue. There will be plenty girls your age or around it.

As far as transitioning just be flexible, don't expect anything because nothing is ever what it seems. And have a sense of adventure- this is exciting, so find something to get excited about! As soon as you know where you will be living, do a facebook search for spouse groups in that area and get connected. Good luck :)

Age is just a number....at least that's what I have been telling myself.  Just be a good friend and you will have no trouble making friends of any age.

There will be plenty of people you age.  People in the military tend to get married young.  I have always had friends that were much older than I am.  They tend to have less drama.

Pretty much what they said. The best advice I can give you is to just be yourself.
