for Mother's Day?
I send flowers every year; we're not really close from a geographical or emotional standpoint so that seems to be the thing to do.
We sent cards to our moms for Mother's Day. They live in another state.
no, sadly my mom passed away from kidney failure 2 years ago.
I always send flowers. If we lived in the same place we'd go out for brunch or dinner, but that hasn't been the case for over a decade now.
Quoting gunsgirl: no, sadly my mom passed away from kidney failure 2 years ago.
My kids did a painting for them. His mom and my mom are "flowered" out, so we know they will appreciate these gifts a bit more.
I sent her a card from me & 1 from her grandson. Her birthday is in 2 weeks so she's getting a gift in between the two, something she told me she really wanted. She's driving over from VA(we live in TX) and staying here for the month so we will really celebrate then.
We are stationed in Texas & my family is in Illinois, so I sent my mom a bouquet of flowers to be delivered to her on Sunday :)
I sent her a box. I will be seeing her next month (first time in 2 years!!) when we meet in FL for a girls only family week so I got things she can use on our tripdown there. Flipflops, tank tops, pink beer coozie, that sort of stuff. Hope everyone enjoys their day tomorrow!
