I feel so bad for my honey...loud fireworks are going off right next to us and because of his PTSD it's really bothering him and I feel so bad he can't enjoy the holiday because everything is so loud and upsetting him:(

Thanks honey. I just wish he could have fun instead of being all upset:/

There are a number of good books out there on coping strategies and there is also a lot of free information online.

My husband had a rough couple holidays with fireworks. Has your spouse gotten help. After my husband visited a therapist, and got on medications, he is able to handle them now, and it does not bother him. Sorry, I know that feeling you are having of wanting to help him.

No earplugs? Y'all can't go away for the day?
