More fiber? How much veggies do you eat? I know that helped me when I added more veggies.. Maybe some probiotics? Some people have to take those to help stay regular.. Prunes.. Or even adding some medimusal I think you can mix it and drink it or sprinkle it on your foods

I don't eat a whole lot of veggies because I don't like them!! Usually it's just spinach, unless I mix them in with meals!! Maybe that is the problem!!

Probiotics? I have heard of them but don't know much about them.

I think Kefir has probiotics in it. I used to be constipated bad. Bananas always made it worse. Now, I go 2-3 times a day. lol. Leafy green veg's do it. Metamucil is a good idea to.

I like the fiber gummies and usually take them before a meal to help fill me up faster.  The Benefiber powder is also good and you really do barely notice it although I did try adding it to scrambled eggs before it that just came out awful but in my pasta sauce, meatloaf, etc. no difference.  I also like glucomannan as a fiber sourse.  Apple juice/apples, watermelon, cherries, salad and sweet potato also moves things along at least for me.

Not sure if you can do it, but rolling your belly can help move the gas along, rub it counterclockwise or lay on your back and bicycle your legs should help with that.

There is a product out there. Sustenex. Looks like Tums but works for your problem. You could probably get it at walmart.

The PP are dead on, as a geriatric nurse, I deal w/ this issue ALL the time! More than I care to share! lol!!! I implement the following for my constipaters. Increase your water intake, 6-8oz glasses a day (this is usually the leading issues w/ my geries), next increase you fiber intake! A woman should be eating 28-30grams a day. Fiber supps are great like Metamucil as mentioned. Eat lots of fresh fruits and veggies! Try not to cook them if helped. And of course exercise and a good strong cup of caffeinated tea or coffee can always help things along! Good luck!

Everyone's answers are great. I just wanted to suggest yogurt, some brands have more probiotics then others. Increase water, fruit, veggies. There are some cereals that have awesome fiber (fiber one, kashi). Just stay away from the fiber one granola bars (awful gas).
