today- i worked out... havent done it in a LONG time... REALLY long time... it was only 20 minutes on the elliptical though; 15 minutes going forward, 5 minutes backwards.
i finished my work out and started going home- where my nose started to bleed! its been about 30 minutes and its still bleeding. not as heavily, but its still there.
is it b/c i'm so obese/unhealthy? do i need to lower my workout and build up to it? i mean, the workout kicked my butt-- but i didnt think it was THAT hard, at least hard enough to make my nose bleed. its never happened before.
thoughts?
also I am sure the workout elevated your blood pressure, which could have also caused it. Yes it is best to work up to it rather than going full throttle at the very beginning. 5 minutes forward and 5 minutes backward try for 3 times per day, so you still get the 30 minute minimum per day. It is 30 minutes per day but it doesnt have to be all at once.
It may be because it's wintertime. But I'd make sure you check with your dr. My area has been so darned dry and allergies are running rampant. Could be your allergies. Get it checked out to ease your mind:-)
Def have your BP checked and assess your pulse before, peak and after your workout....know your heart rates according to your weight and height. There are great charts online to follow!
