Hi my name is Katie. I'm 36 years old and a single mom of a 9 year old daughter . I am working on losing weight and dealing with eating properly. I've been using spark people to my surprise I have been undereating and starving my body that is why its  storing fat.

Journaling is a wonderful and underused tool. Great job getting started on that part!! It took me a long time to start tracking, and now I love it.

That is an important lesson to learn! Glad to hear you were able to figure it out! Many women don't eat enough especially when losing weight.. When it comes to burning fat less is not more! You need more! ;)
