I can't get these dang love handles to go away. I can flatten my stomach but the love handles hang around. What can I do? I'm hitting the gym every day for an hour to hour and a half. I'm drinking water and powerade every day all day. Eating fruit and vegetables daily. Help!!!!!

You might want to watch your carb intake and eat less. Try working out with hand weights or kettlebells, haha! Every one's going to think I'm promoting kettlebells, but I'm just a mom who found a way to tone up and lose weight at home. Also make sure you aren't eating much sugar. Sugar is the worst for packing on the pounds.

Agree it is probably a combo of diet and needing some weight training.. What is your diet like now? What do you do for exercise?

Banana or toast in the morning
Carrots and cucumbers at lunch
And a little of whatever my FIL cooks for dinner. I'm never hungry so I have to force myself to eat

Yes your diet could def use some tweaks! Many women have issues eating.. You need more protien sources for sure!!! And more leafy greens if you can try to make those small changes it might help!!

Take a good look at your diet. Write down everything you eat. Have someone look it over, you could post it in this group to get critiques on it.

Be patient, if you are doing everything you will eventuallys ee results. The tummy takes time.

I eat salads once or twice a week, what can I do for protein. I have the special k protein shakes in the fridge but I gag drinking it. I have protein bars but my MIL takes them to work and eats them

Hmm I'm not sure what's in special k shakes.. But I think they are lower in protien check out a whey protien shake like muscle milk... Protien bars are processed so not really good for everyday diet.. Things like eggs, chicken, ground lean turkey, extra lean beef, Greek yogurt, cottage cheese etc are good protien sources.. You also need healthy fats in your diet like almonds avacados etc You should really have at least a salad a day! So good for the skin as well as helping to reduce fat ;)

Try gluten free and cut down on refined sugars. both of these will keep weight on. If you need help on gluten free foods, I have a wealth of knowledge. Just email me and I would be happy to help. I have been GF for many years. I lost weight without even trying. I am sensitive to gluten as I am sure a lot of people are who don't know they are. Make sure to work out and keep hydrated too.
