I hate to complain, but it's as if this game has been forgotten. I know that's not the case because I saw the preview of Dusky Shores and read that y'all were shooting to open it the 1st week of April. The preview looked great. What is the new ETA please? I've been planting gardens w/out earning FP, but it's getting boring. I've colored all the areas. Please tell me a new area is opening soon,

I'm very sorry for the delay.  I know many of you have been waiting patiently for an update.  After several discussions, we've decided that we're not going to add any more content to Flower Power indefinitely.

We've shifted our direction and are now focusing our resources on a brand new game.  I don't have any details to share yet since we're still in the early stages of development, but all of us are really excited and can't wait to show everyone.  We're going to post up a preview here soon so everyone can see what it's about.

Again, on behalf of the team, I'm very sorry to keep everyone waiting.  We appreciate everyone's support for Flower Power and look forward to sharing our next big game!

Have to admit I am curious why the team has given up on this game and decided to redirect their focus.  Is there any particular reason?

There are lots of reasons behind the decision.  The core mechanics of the game had problems, many of the features we want to do (like patterns) are not possible without remaking the game from scratch, and there are a lot of limitations for us overall.  Also, the game was not as popular as Latte Land unfortunately, so we want to try again and make something even bigger and better than both games.  I think everyone will be really happy with what's to come!

typing I'm really upset and depressed now. I have been playing Flower Power since it started more the Latte Land and waiting for a new area to open and to be able to buy more top soil and flowers to make gardens for the garden shows. I can't believe it is going to be dropped. PLEASE CafeMom don't give up on Flower Power. Rabbit

Just to throw in my 2 cents, I am not a huge fan of Flower Power but I do still usually come over from Latte Land to play it for a lttle bit every day.  I too was looking forward to Dusky Shores and was excited by the drawing you showed a few weeks ago.

I can understand that this game has its problems and limitations, and it hasn't attained the popularity you had hoped for, but it seems that since Dusky Shores is supposedly on the borderline of being 'ready', why not go ahead and release it for those who are fans of the game so that they can enjoy it?  Instead of letting all that work be for nothing, let those who are fans of the game go ahead and play in it, knowing that it will be the final area.

Or I guess you just don't believe it's important to keep your promises.
