i have a question

the other day i was changing the trach with the nurses help i never do it by myself he moves alot and fights when we try to put it it.well i noticed that during the few seconds we were trying to get the new one back in Justice didn't change color he was pink and doing great also he i heard a cry coming out of the trach its been awhile sice i heard that.what iam getting at is has anyone experienced changing the trach and your child color is great.is this a good sign maybe all the other times his color would change.should notifiy the doctor about this.

I and my husband always change the trach together, because Nicole moves and fights too but she never changed color. It takes few seconds to change the trach and she always does very good. I know that she breaths through her mouth and noise- I can hear her and she makes a lot of noise  when she laughs and sometimes I hear her voice when she cries these are good signs for sure. I'm the one who changes colors every time we have to change the trach. She fights so bad that it's a nightmare to change even the ties. When all this is going to end!?!?!?I Good luck to you, your boy is very sweet!

Yes that is a good sign if he is staying normal color! And if he's making noise. It's great to hear their voice isn't it!
