Hi Ladies: Whether you are new to the forum, or have not logged in for a while, stop by and tell us your stories.
Hi Everyone: My name is Vicky and I am the new group owner. I live in New York City and am a full time working mom. I have one daughter, Nicole, age 7, who was born with a condition known as neurofibromatosis. I can tell you a lot of horror stories about this illness, and Nicole has manifested a few things, tumors among them, however, I will discuss this at length in the future, I am sure so I do not want to bore you.
Nicole is physically handicapped; she wears orthotics, she is trached, and has had ventricular brain surgery for hydrencephalus, and spinal rod surgery for severe scoliosis. She is doing well, but it is, as I am sure many of you know, a day to day battle.
I look forward to getting to know everyone.
