How is everyone doing? What is everyone up to? I apologize again for not being a better group owner.
Life is hectic here. We just filed our taxes but due to my wife getting disability pay last year when she had her gallbladder out we had to paper file. So waiting for the IRS to get that. Classes have also started again. I am taking one at a time and it is still so much work. This is my wife's last semester as an undergraduate student. YAY!!! Next year she will start her M.Div hopefully. I am still looking for a job. We do have a "gig" though to go down to John Hopkins at the end of March to teach the residents and students about life as a transgender couple. I think that is about it. Kaelen is still working on potty training and Haidn is still in school, lol.
Sweet! I'm in my last year of my MDIV. Yahoo!!! We should talk.
Finally found the appropriate counselors and doctors for my son for his transition preparation / whatever will happen. Finding specialists in adolescent gender therapy and adolescent transgender endocrinology...well...even in Seattle it was difficult. Things are beginning to roll.
That is so cool. where do you go? If you don't mind me asking.

Seattle University. It is an ecumenical and very welcome school. Plus close to home. :-)
I'm a horrible group owner too, but I have less of an excuse...I'm a stay at home mom. I'm just busy with all of these kids and such, not that anyone I know in real life believes me.
It's great you and your wife are going over to John Hopkins to teach the residents and students about life as a transgender couple. More people need to stand up and show people how normal it is to be transgendered.
Good luck with the classes. I need to go back, and I'm NOT looking forward to that. I have a headache thinking of it, lol.
Basically, my life is just...kids, kids, kids. And house. I'm a horrible manager of time. I do homeschool Blake, and of course I do have three other kids to deal with all the time. It gets kind of busy, as my husband doesn't help at all. Ugh
I've been sick for a month now, with many different flus and colds.
It's getting old and I'm tired. I am working on finally getting better so I can deal with all of this better!
I can attest to the fact that its very difficult to find a doctor who will help an adolescent transition. My son is 15 now, and we live in southwest missouri....nothing here. Nothing in the state of missouri, so far as I have found.
Awesome for you to be in your last year! Congratulatoins. Must be a relief.
