Favorite meals and snacks

What are your go to meals and snacks?  I am looking for the ones you know your body and blood sugars responds well to.

For me, I always do well with a casserole I make using tator tots, hamburger, corn and soup.  I can eat a very large portion of this topped with some cheese and be at 85 2 hours later.

I've been eating a lot of baked potatoes lately as i've been able to eat them and be in the 80's.  I've also been able to eat no sugar added light ice cream which I wasn't always able to handle. 

I eat a lot of yogurt, pretzels, soup, stir-fries, and mozarella sticks, yummmm

I know that I can not eat yogurt at all and can only eat fruit in very small amounts and at certain times in the day.

Yeah a lot of fruit I can't touch.  I've suffered from a weird reaction to apples, pears, plums, peaches, necturines.....pretty much any fruit where you eat the skin (accept for berries) for years.  I would get blisters on my lips and in my mouth and sometimes my throat would start to close up.  I thought it was the pesticides but the same would happen with organic or using washes.  Turns out it's a condition called Oral Allery Syndrome and unless those fruits are cooked I can't eat them.  Really stinks because I MISS all those yummy fresh fruits.

rice cakes with peanut butter

glass of milk with 2 tbl of nestle quick chocolate powder in it and some sort of ramdom protien (usually a cheese stick)

Cream cheese with toast

Those are my favs!

Cottage cheese and canned peaches, Hand full of almonds, 1 sugar free jello pudding cup.

I cant have the yogurt anymore, that was my favorite before the GD.

i eat bake pototes ALL the time and cream cheese and salsa mixed togather
