I am trying to vary what I eat at different meals, to see what it does to my sugar etc. Could it be normal to be a little high at a certain time of day, no matter what I eat? Seems like I am always a bit high after breakfast (but fine when I wake up.....before I have eaten.)

They say you emit more hormones in the morning which block your insulin.   I just plan my diet accordingly.  I eat slightly larger snacks and a smaller breakfast.  There is a lot of trial and error!
