Hi Ladies! To introduce myself my name is Cassandra and i'm currently 28 weeks pregnant with my third child (I have 1 daughter, another baby in heaven lost in miscarriage). Due January 13th! I'm married to a wonderful man now for 5 1/2 years and we've got one dog, a lab/retriever mix named Mark. Waiting on baby girl number 2!
Anyway, this is my second pregnancy with GD. Last time I was able to fully control it with diet and I did well, this time i'm not having as much luck lol. I seem to have only one problem area and that is my morning levels. I'm told to keep my levels before meals under 90...well, i'm perfect all day long, but the first morning one is always around 103-112, depending. Any advice on how to get these numbers down? This morning was the first time I actually had it at around 92 and I was sooo happy but then I realized that the reason for it being that number was because instead of having my snack at 11pm like I was told to, I had it at 1:15am and then went to bed shortly after. I usually stay up till around 2 or 2:30am and wake up at 9:30am to test. Can that schedule be throwing me off? They said they would maybe give me a pill to help with the overnight levels because my dieting is going great. What do you guys think? Anything I can do to keep those numbers down so I don't have to get the pill? Thanks in advance!
I had to take the pill when I had GD. sorry im no help so here is a bump for ya. ![]()
