I have tried evey night snack imaginable and no matter what I cannot keep my blood sugar at where it's supposed to be when I first take it in the morning. No more than 95. It's always around 98-104. The nutritionist said that I should have 2 carbs (bread/starch & 1 cup of Milk) and a protein (cheese stick)... so I've been doing that and switching the carbs around (6 mini oatmeal cookies= 1 CHO; 5 Nilla Waffers= 1 CHO) IDK anymore!! It's just always over 95 in the morning!!! I used to have a rice cake for a snack with cheese and a cup of milk... but that's not enough carbs... so idk what do! HELP!!!

That is great you got it under control.

When my fastings were high consistently last time around (havent had that problem yet this time) I got to eat more carbs before bed. It was goood, lol!

Mine never went down so I had to do 6 units of insulin at bedtime. And 4 with breakfast. No matter what I ate, when I ate it.. It still crept up. Pain in the butt!
