After a month of trying to keep my blood sugar down, I'm finally on medication. Its not insulin, but the kind that encourages insulin receptors to open up in the cells. So far, just used it for 2 days, and it's been great. Blood sugar has never been this low :D. Still have to keep up on the diabetic diet though; low carb and no simple sugar. But at least I can eat more and not feel starved all the time.
One thing I didn't understand is the doctor is putting me on NST monitor twice a week...seems a bit over done, but oh well. Was very funny to see my baby tries to kick the microphone off the whole time and won't stay still.
The only side effect is tiredness, though I'm not sure if that's from the pill or the pregnancy. Can't complaint much, could be worse.
