Some questions

I am gestational again with my 2nd. I was officially diagnosed last week at 24 weeks, however I have been testing with my DH meter. I have been trying to diet on my own based off of what I recall and found online. With my son I managed with diet alone. So far, my fasting seems to always be high, as high as 108. My ob doesn't manage the GD (new ob for me), and I have to wait to see a endo on Wed to control me. Is this normal? Is the 108 fast very high? I get worried bc I have read that high uncontrolled levels are serious to the baby's health.

Also, has anyone that has had GD before have any issues with their placenta? I was told I had a level 2 placenta with my son, and recently read that GD could be linked to this. This concerns me as that means the placenta ages quicker and could deprive the baby of oxygen. Just curious if this is directly related or not. I am going to ask my ob at my next appt.

Are you all followed more closely in regards to sono's and NST

I am new to this... this is my first time having it, but my endo wants my fasting to be 95 or under. I see my OB every week & have NST & have had more Sonos as well. 24 weeks... ughhh,,, I found out almost 2 months ago but it took them a month just to see me. I am having a c section on Jan. 13 if I make it that far. Good luck..

THAT HIGH FOR A FASTING NUMBER...TRY TO WORKOUT IN THE MORNING WORKS BETTER FOR FASTING NUMBERS....
