Went in to be induced at 6 am labor was going by 7. The nurse checked me every 1/2 hr since my last went so fast. Good thing, cause when she checked me at 8:30 I was 7 and by 9 I was 9 and at 9:15 I was ready to rock and roll. Matt and his dad went to get breakfast so my mom had to go find them lol. We all got in to our spots and I basically was told one big push lol and she was out! Her shoulders did get a little stuck but the dr was able to work them out. I barely tore at all.
Sophie was 7 lbs 9 oz and 21 1/2 inches long. I have pics up on my page.
We were home the next day and we are both doing well!

I just wanted to share the news with you that Molleigh was born on May 28. She weighed 7lb 14oz and was 19.5 inches long.
We were supposed to be induced on 6/2, but when we went for our bpp on the 27th, the fluid levels were back down to 5.7. They were going to just wait to see how they were on Thursday because she scored perfectly on the bpp, but I was concerned at this point, so the dr agreed to induce me.
The labor went remarkably well. When they started the induction on the 27th around 2p, I was already at 1cm and 50%. Around midnight, my husband and I decided to take a nap. I was at 2cm. I woke up an hour later because I started having pains even though I had an epidural. It turned out that in that hour, I had made it to 10cm and was ready to push. They called the dr asap, and 10 minutes later she was born. It was amazing!
Because I was on glyburide, they had to test the baby's blood sugars every three hours for the first day, but they were all perfect. We're both home and doing very well now.

sophia andre was born sunday 08 june 2008 at 1:36am, weighing 5lbs 15oz and measuring 19.5 inches.

i went in saturday morning for an induction and began the pitocin at 9am. i was already having contractions even though i couldn't feel them, so i was just on top of the world. once my doc decided it was time to break my water (around 1pm) my whole demeanor changed. i opted for the epidural and didn't really feel anything (including my legs) until she dropped into position and it was time to push. that was around 10:30pm. i pushed for 3 hours! it was the most intense thing ever and i didn't think she was ever going to come out, but we got through it without a vacuum or forceps. i was so happy to see that head full of thick black hair and those dark eyes. we've been home since monday afternoon, and everything is going great!!
btw... i had doughnuts and orange juice for breakfast sunday morning. it was AWESOME!! :D

just got home - went in on the 19th and had an induction - man was that painful for a while until they gave me the epidural. Walter got stuck and was in distress so they had to C-section him and he was born on June 20th, at 3:13 pm - they were expecting huge and only got an 8 pound boy. LOL. Goes to show sonos can be off a LOT.
I'm healing up, milk is coming in a bit slow, but it's coming - sugars are fine, I'm off the insulin, but still on the diabetic diet - which is fine. I'm used to it by now.

My twins were born Saturday July 19th!! I was actually scheduled for a c-section Monday the 21st but they got impatient! Hahaha! My water broke late Friday night after we'd already been to L&D once just hours before because I thought I was leaking! I kinda loved coming back just a couple hours after they told me I was basically imagining it, hehehe, guess I was right! So, Audrey Laura was born at 3:15am weighing 6lbs. 15oz. 18.5in and Charlotte Vita followed at 3:16am weighing 6lbs 9oz 19.5in! Charlotte had some low blood sugar at first, but it worked itself out with about 12hrs. They are perfect! My sugars have been great and I'm free to eat what I want! I'll take a 2hr glucose at my 6wk postpartum to make sure everything is back to normal. Haha, the first thing I had in recovery was orange juice! I missed that so much! The twins got to room-in with me the whole time we were in the hospital and we've been home since Monday!
