They told me I have gestational diabetes , but the highest my blood has ever been was 159. Otherwise my bloods are always 103 to 124. Other people have told me this is not gestational diabetes . What do you guys think ? My doctor said they want my blood under 95 in the morning , havent gotten there yet and 130 under after meals those ones are fine. Let me know what you think . thanks
I think my highest ever number was 178, 2 hours after eating 2 large slices of pizza. That's far and above any other number I have ever gotten in the last two months. I think the highest I've been in the recent past has been 124, also two-hours post-prandial. Highest fasting ever was 105, but that's the only time I've been over 100 -- usually I"m between 87-94.
I've often wondered what a "normal" pregnant woman's blood sugar levels are.
My fasting is always my biggest problem as well. I was told under 100 is good, but if I make it it's very very close!! My highest ever was 182 when I was in labor with my DD, I knew I was going to have her soon so I went to Denny's and had a big meal complete with a cherry limeade! I've never seen it even close to that any other time.

I cant get my fasting down , the lowest its been is 96 to 106. they want it under 95. I go tomorrow for the diet. I have been just playing it by ear so far.
See, I was told that 119 after a meal is totally normal. In fact, I was told it should be no more than 140 1 hour after eating and no more than 120 2 hours after eating. So 119 sounds so normal, I wonder why they say you even have gestational diabetes!

my lowest was 65 , but always seem to be 75 and my highest so far was 119, but only cause i ate what i wasnt suppose to 3 biscuits and gravy, not good, lol
but they hardly ever get to 100, which i thought was low, but she said she wants me to be 70-100

Those are the numbers I was given as well. It seems weird to me that you have even been diagnosed with GD!

I was told your fasting number should be under 95 & 2 hours after eating should be around 115ish. I would be concerned if it's around 130 after eating! My highest number was 207 which is absolutely rediulous! I learned that I COULD NOT eat pizza! I had two small pieces from Subway. It was what I craved through the entire pregnancy too :o(

my doc said when i took the diebietes test at 28 weeks, you know the lovely orange drink, lol
he said that i scored 2 points over and that made me borderline mild diebietes, but i am getting treated and have to eat as if i have full blown diebietes, no medicine or nothing, just diet and excersie and pricking my finger 4 times a day, but i go in to my doc on wed the 6th and i am going to bring in my book with all my blood sugar levels and i am hoping that since they are always in the 70 to 75 that he will up my food and say girl go have a cheesburger, lol, gosh i hope he says that. this one piece of toast and eggs crap sucks.
