in the front yard weeding my flower beds I was cutting the daffodil leaves and pulling little maple trees taht were growing from those maple keys landing in my flower beds I felt something on my hand and I looked down and I had a damn hobo spider n my hand. It jumped off but scared the hell out of me for a min. That is the second spider since we lived here that I have had on my hand and I didnt get bitten which I am happy about. The first time it was a yellow sac spider.
yuk, i hate hate hate spiders,, we are killing ants like crazy this year,,, big ones, littles ones, ALL ONES!
I have random little ants in my kitchen..I can clean the counters really good and I still get them. I use pinesol to clean my counters the laverendar scented stuff and the ants still keep coming. They are nt as bad as they were 2 years ago. I sat there with the vacuum for about a half hour vacuuming up ants and they wer ethe big antys too. I had my cupboard all open and I was on a chair with the vacuum hose in my hand just wsucking up ants left and right. the kids and I were counting the ants we got...=)
i wonder why some years are worse then others? it is the weather? last week i got bit by a wasp, hornet, or something like that,, i went to sit back in my chair and he was on it and stung me, well it felt like bruning fire for a hour,, i still have a hige lump from it,,, then today when i was doing the paper route,, something came out of the hedge and bit my elbow, only this swelled up bad,,, i still have that mark too,, things like to bite me!
I just had a hornet in my house...I came inside from waiting for the kids to come home and I went to close the door and I saw it in the window by the door and I used my sandel to direct it to the open door.
i think it is going to be a very bad year for bugs of all sorts,,, today and tomorow are to be the hottest days we have ever had, i like the heat but when the humidex comes with it, it is unbearable,,,, when it gets this hot, i swim lengths more in the pool to get my exercise in,,,,, i am just off to attempt my hour long fast walk outside!, and it is HOT!
she still has the mark but it isnt itchy anymore. She will probably have the mark for a little while longer cause they take a while to heal cause the horse fly actually bites open where it was blood which is why it can get infected much more easy then a mosquito bite.
I am a working mom now...=)
