Does anyone have any good vegetarian protein substitutes for the vlcd portion of the diet? I use shrimp and fish and I have been told if you don't want meat you can try 1/2 cup cottage cheese(nonfat) or nonfat greek yogurt but this may produce slower losses due to the sugars in dairy products. Has anyone successfully used these without a stall? Also my clinic recommended a hi protein low carb low fat protein powder. Has anyone used protein powder during vlcd?
