Not sure if this is where I should post this? I had my baby just about 4 months ago and haven't lost any weight. I have motivation in my head but noy physically. I'm always so tired I never want to excercise. I tried running with my husband and it hurt sooo bad I thought I was going to die! I want to get down to my weight I was at before I had kids- around 130.. I have ALOT to loose.. What do you use for motivation.. physically??

Congrats on the birth of your baby! 4 months is not a lot of time, no wonder you are tired all the time. I know that when my youngest was 4 months old that I wasn't ready to start exercising again. But if you think you are ready I suggest starting out slowly so your body can get used to exercising again. Walking is a good place to start, when you go shopping park farther away from the store so that you will have to walk more. That is how I started. I just made myself do it and started doing more and more walking slowly. My motivation is that I want to keep up with my 3 year old son and be healthy. I find that when you exercise you get a natural high from it and feel good about what you have accomplished. I hope what I have said helps.

omg. I just wanna wear cute clothes! Seriously. My clothes are like circus tent clothes now. After I had my 3 year old I just slacked off soooo bad. My physical motivation is the energy I get after I work out. I swear I go in tired, come out like a crackhead. lol. Try to find a gym. I think (for me anyways) the interaction with other people, not to mention being jealous of all the hot bodies in there, helps me alot. I sooo want to look like some of them! Yep that's my motivation, energy high and hot bodies. LOl. Welcome to the group! They're awesome in here they have helped me soooooo much so far.

Both Steph and Sue give some great advice.  Either walking or joining a gym are great ideas.  You can also jump into any one of the challenges.  As for motivation you could try putting up a picture of yourself as you are now as a reminder of what you don't want to look like.  Also take measurements of yourself because as you gain muscle and loss fat you may not see any change on the scale but you will in the measurements.  If you have any questions please ask.  We are here for you.
