lets face it - the kids come home with a miriad of complaints some days.......my youngest is having a few issues with a little boy in her first grade class that she used to be very very good friends with and recently they have been arguing alot and just bugging each other in general.
So - when she comes home and tells me "alex did this or alex did that' - i quickly say - ok that's one not so great thing.....what about any good things that happened today??????/
this way we can alwasy focus on More good things happening than bads things for the day!
Great idea. When we are sitting at dinner, I always ask my oldest (1st grade) what his favorite part of the day was. He almost always says recess, but then I try to get him to elaborate a bit more. When he has a bad day at school, this helps him to focus on something more positive.
LOL! I can remember when I was a child also saying that my favorite part was recess!

Great reminder! Luckily, my DD is only in preschool, so EVERYDAY is a FAB day LOL!
