Hi ladies,
I know most of us tell our children, husbands or family members how much we love and appreciate them. But, how do you communicate this with your girlfriends? Do you just come right out and tell them? Do you show it in other ways? Tell us something special you've done for your friend or that a friend has done for you that let you know they really care.

I have know my bestie for 25 years. We really are like sisters. We talk all the time and try to do a monthly visit with each other. We're so close, we come out and say "Hey, I love you."
Right after I had my son she came to my house with a huge crock pot full of chili! She also gave me a bunch of meat. So after she had her son, I took her children for the day so she could rest. I also helped with cleaning her home and running errands for her. I am so blessed to have such a great friend.
my best friend is my sister..i tell her all the time...i also show her by taking her to lunch or i send her a cute greeting card...
That is so great! You are both lucky to have each other.

I tell all my friends I love them all the time! plus we send each other snail mail and gifts. We all make an effort to visit each other (we're all in different states now). I'm lucky in that I can go months without talking to some of my friends, but when we finally do touch base, it's like no time at all :D

I bet she enjoys the time with you- do you guys have a favorite place for lunch?

I do other special things for my girlfriends. I sent my BFF Mallory flower when we were almost done with the deployment our husbands were on! We also send each other cards or little small stuff! When she lived closer I'd treat her to little things and shed do the same. Now she lives in AZ and we don't often see each other or talk as much. But she still knows she is my best friend ever!
Distance does make things harder! Sorry you two are so far apart! :(

I always think if you send something through snail mail, it makes a big impact and shows you really care. Email and all those quick communications are great, but something about getting snail mail really makes you feel special.
