Does your child's school have a good student award? If so, what does it involve?
It is called the Shining Star Award. They have a little assembly and all the students that received the award get to come on stage and take a picture with the principal. They also get a coupon for a free meal at a restaurant, it is usually different each time.

No, my son's school doesn't do anything like that and my daughter is in high school so the rewards would be honor roll.
