My oldest daughter furiously argued with me this morning because I told her that her boyfriend couldn't come over tonight because she yelled at me last night. It's hard to not let her get me engaged, I keep my cool though :-).

It's so hard to not let them pull you in!!  Good job on keeping your cool!  I've lost mine a few times ;)

My sons baseball couch benching my boys for 2 straight games without talking to me because "they said they didn't want to play". Sorry buddy. Not your call. That's when you talk to the parents. My boys chose to play so, it is their responsibility to be there for their team mo matter what. Aside from sickness They will play.
