Hi ladies,

Do you and your husband speak the same "love language"?

How have you adapted your communication style to meet his?

1 mom liked this

No, we don't speak the same language.  DH likes to show with physical touch, which don't get me wrong, is great.....but sometimes a girl would like words of affirmation or show me in other ways like helping around the house!!!

We do. Over the years we have worked out the kinks and are very in tune with each other physically and emotionally. He knows that if he comes downstairs and says the kids are sleeping and i put away the laundry it gets my blood pumping! Lol!

No. My love language is gifts. I love giving presents and cherish gifts that I receive. My husbands love language is acts of service.

When my husband doesn't buy me flowers and stuff l wish he would, I remember everything he does around the house. I also have to remember to do stuff for him, although he always likes whatever I buy for him.

We are very much in sync.

We are both romantic, helpful, and appreciative of one another.

We are so corny we can finish each others sentences...lol...

Not saying we never fight....because we can...lol......

just saying we are very comfortable with one another:)

I just read the book by Gary Chapman, loved it!
I'm still trying to determine where we fall.
We're close to each others but probably not exactly the same.

I am a touch/quality time/acts of service love language type of person.

My husband is similar but doesn't need it constantly like I do. It's taken time but we've slowly worked through it.

You can find a test to see what your love language is here.

I think it's most important to know what your own love language is so you understand why you react the way you do. I know it helped me greatly.

Definitely not the same. We try but we're complete opposites so it can be a struggle.
