See what CafeMoms are saying about saving time this holiday season..
When your kiddos grow up are you going to encourage them to go to college? If so, what kind...2 year Technical school or 4 year college?
If they are already in college, are they in a 2 year Technical or a 4 year college? Who chose it? Did you tell them what you wanted them to attend?
Did you go to and graduate from college? If not, do you think you have a right to say that your kids go to college?
**Only asking because we are getting a lot of push back from our 16 year old who says she is going to go to a 2 year Technical and then transfer to a 4 year. She'll be 18 in 1 1/2 years and plans to graduate early and move out 2 months after she turns 18. (She hates having rules and restrictions)We think she would ended up not continuing after the 2 years. Plus part of the reason she's staying in town and wanting to attended the 2 year Tech is because her boyfriend is living here in town! She thinks we have no right to tell her where she should go because she will be 18 and that we didn't even go to college. I think a 4 year college would give her a better future and more course choices than our area technical school.
**We have education funds set up for all the girls, which will end up paying for 1/2 of their college. So we think we should have some input.
Would like other's point of views...thanks :-)
