Growing up, did you have a role model or somone you looked up to?  What made them be a role model for you?

My Dad. He was a single father raising me to be able to be completely independent. I can work on my own cars, fix my own home & hunt owed to him.
When I was under a yr, he fought for & won custody of me back in the mid 80s when it was pretty unheard of for a father to have custody of their children. I was very poor, but was taught that you don't need a lot of money & things to be happy. He taught me love, respect, responsibility, honor, strong values & manners, honesty & loyalty. The things most children aren't taught these days.. *I love you Daddy*

My dad.  He took care of me and my sister for 8 years without a woman.  He worked his ass off, never accepted charity, and made his own way.  I love him so much, and I hope I can be like him some day!

I'm sure he is awfully proud of you too!

I had a lot of teachers I looked up to, they shared their time, their lives, and were always there for me.  They never tried to come across as perfect, but shared mistakes they  made in hopes that we would learn from them- they were great role models for me.

Oh I forgot about teachers.. I did have a couple I looked up too!

My parents! They've always been so positive and supportive!

My grandparents were my role models. They were happily married and everything, absolutely everything revolved around the family. We had family dinners every single Sunday at our grandparents home. Everyone looked forward to it all week long. All holidays were spent at our granparents home as well. Their hearts and home were open to us at all times. They were the epitome of a love and support and everyone single person in our family felt it. I have always admired that about them.
