How to manage first time long international flight with 2 toddlers?

Hello experienced travellers. I will be travelling with 2 toddlers alone this summer. I don't worry about the girl much but my boy can pose some challenges because even in the car he can't stay still for more then 2 hours. Can you share some tips about entertainment, toiys that helped you through; and overall travel experience? I intend to bring some books; coloring pages and I am considering buying some electronic games or cheap tablet so at least he can watch his own movies. We are going to Europe and flight will be 8 hours long with 3 hours layover at the airport. Thanks in advance for your wisdom and time.

It sounds like you have it under control....but the other thing I normally bring is Benadryl. It didnt hype kids up..it made them sleepy. Sometimes they were so wrapped up in what was going on around them that they would get over-tired. Benadryl saved my life on those few occasions where they were "allergic" to sleep.

I would look at the dollar store for cheap toys. Let them pick them out and put them away until the trip. Then they have the new toys they want and should keep them entertained. Good luck to you!
