How can I get my 18 month old to stop saying? I will admit to do say no to her. But only because she gets into everything! She even says no when she knows shes not supposed to be doing something. Any advice? Suggestions? Thank you!

I don't mind them saying no. I know it's just her trying to exert her independence! When she says no try giving her a choice. Like you tell her to sit down and she says no! Just say, "ok, you can either sit down all by yourself or mommy will help you sit down" that worked well for me. Good luck!

I agree, it's just a phase they go through. Ignoring it is the best thing you could do. It will stop.

It's kinda funny. She say says it when she knows she's not supposed to be doing something. Lol. How long does usually last for?

Yep, sounds like a phase to me as well. Hopefully it will pass soon for you.

I can't say how long it will last, since all kids are different. Maybe a couple weeks, a couple months, a year??? Hopefully not too long for you though.
