I get a "wait a second" finger held up to me and they finally put their phones in their pockets and one of them decides I am good enough to help.
I show him my phone, he shows his boss who tells him to go in the back and compare it to another phone.
Less then a minute later the guy comes out and says he compared it to the 12 phones they have in stock.
He says they all are the same. (I'm wondering in the back of my mind how he unboxed 12 brand new phones that fast) I ask him to please bring one out for me to compare it to and he says unless I plan on buying it he wasnt going to bring one out.
At this point I am ready to rip his bowtie off and shove it down his throat! lol
I then nicely inform him that I am going to go call Verizon and lodge a complaint against him, his 4 buddies and the store.
I made the call and the complaint. The lady asked if I could possibly go back to IPT and have the sale girl call to verify that there was indeed something wrong with my phone.
I make the 40 mile drive back to town, mad the entire drive....had to deal with Bonnaroo traffic too.
I get to IPT and the girl is more then happy to help me and she makes the call. After she talks to them I do and find that they are sending me a brand new replacement phone, over night!
I was being a smart ass and asked the women on the phone if there was any way they could ship the phone to the Hixon store so I could pick it up there and rub it in their face...she said she didnt think that would be a wise idea....LOL
