My son is 3 1/2. We've been potty training for 6 months. He goes #1 when I put him on the potty but does not tell me he has to go. He has gone #2 approximately 4x's when I put him on the potty. Never tells me he has to go. What's your situation?

Sky does great when we don't put underwear or a pull up on her only use pull ups at night and when we go out in public due to the fact she thinks she can pee in the under wear

We haven't really got past just introducing the potty. He's 19 months and I feel like I need to start pushing him to try to pee in it. I'm just so lost on really where to start

I've never actually trained, they more or less did it on their own.

All three were totally out of diapers before age 4.

maybe I should stop worring about it so much. I mean mine is only 19 months. And I hear boys take longer than girls

All three of mine are boys. lol

A few of my friends that had girls and boys, the girls were out of diapers first. So I totally believe girls learn faster.

We kinda are, my daughter has going pee down REALLY well- all on her own, but for some reason #2 isn't going so well.  Today she did it though, so I'm hoping that she does it tomorrow too!

My daughter is the youngest in 2k at church and only one other child is not potty trained. It is so frustrating because she seems sooo behind-- I just have to remember that she is literally THE youngest... they almost didn't let her in because they said she had to be 2 by Sept 1 and her bday is Sept 2. Anyway, she goes #1 100% of the time for everyone but ME. Its really frustrating!

My son will be 4 in July.  He started potty training in Feb.  It's a slow going process, but he's doing well.
