Hi ladies,
Tell us, what has your child done to make you proud lately?

This post couldnt have come at a better time!
My daughter plays softball and was playing for our local Little League. The 11-12 All Star team won their Divisional Championships. That meant that they move on to play for N. California Championships. To make a long story short, they played Chico in a double elimination series. Sadly, they lost and I had to console my daughter as she cried in my arms. But like I told my daughter, she needs to be proud of how far her & her team had come.
Being the 2nd best team in N. Ca is something to be VERY PROUD of!! This group of girls took our Little League group farther than anyone in our LL's history.
Congrats to the team and to your DD- that is something to be proud of!

My dd joined the library's summer reading program. The top goal was to read and review up to 10 books. I received a call yesterday from the library saying a patron had donated a skating party for those kids who didn't stop at 10 books, and to come and pick up her ticket. I felt so proud of her!!
I hope she has a great time at that skating party!
My son (15) read all three Hunger Games well hes on the 3rd now. He failed language arts last yr. so summer he has to read and he really is. I been asking him to tell me what the 3 or 4 chapters a day where about. and he has no clue what i may ask him to tell me. like a live book report.![]()
