Do you let your kids know what is going on? Do they see your reactions to the stress? Or do you keep it all away from them as much as possible?
I'm sure they see it and pick up on things.
I don't think it's good to hide feelings and things.
I choose to expose my weaknesses to my children so that they can see how my husband and I overcome life's challenges and remain positive individuals. I, for one, still experience moments of negativity and it's those times that I grow the most and use those experiences as real life lessons for my children to witness firsthand. By keeping it real, they can see for themselves that it's OK to show anger or sadness, as long as they chose the appropriate time and place (home), and don't become purveyors of those emotions.
Shalom :-)
depends on the sitituation. My son right now is too young to understand too much of anything
