The coolest thing happened to me in NYC PIOG
Long story short... Dh took me on a weekend shopping spree in NYC this weekend. We flew in Friday and home Sunday. We stay at a hotel in Time Square, 1/2 block from where the ball drops. The hotel had a bar, The Rum House in it. Saturday, dh & I were both fighting colds and the weather was cold and damp so after shopping all day we decided to retire to the hotel, drop our bags off and go have a drink.
The Rum House was a small, quaint place, couldn't even hold 100 people. We sat at a corner table. Diagonal from us was a woman who looked like Kalinda from The Good Wife. Dh agreed she resembled her. She was with 2 other woman. Eventually a man walked in. It looked identical to Carry from the same show. The woman introduced him to her friends as "Matt" so I Googled the cast members of the Good Wife and sure enough, Carry is play by Matt Czuchry.
Upon leaving, I walked past and asked, it was them! They were so nice and polite and I even got a pic with them!
